Kristin Brucker, OTR/L

Ms. Brucker is a graduate of the Texas Woman's University in Dallas, Texas, with a masters degree in occupational therapy. She also holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and is a registered nurse.

Ms. Brucker joined the AOT staff in 2006 as a director in pediatric services. She reports directly to the vice president, M. Marlene Seeger, OTR/L. As a vital member of AOTs school-based management team, Ms. Brucker demonstrates excellent organizational and communication skills, balancing staff caseloads, supervising and training clinical staff, and presenting inservices for school personnel. She currently oversees occupational and physical therapy service provision for 14 school districts.

Prior to joining AOT, she worked for seven years at The Children's Institute gaining a wealth of experience in pediatric intervention. As a staff occupational therapist she provided services to children with a wide range of challenges and diagnoses. After two years, she was promoted to be coordinator of occupational therapy services at the Monroeville satellite office of the Institute. There, she was responsible for managing service provision, supervising staff, and managing caseloads. She also continued to provide direct services as a level II therapist. In 2002 she was certified in Sensory Integration. She is recognized for her clinical expertise in the assessment and treatment of children with sensory processing/sensory integration disorders and fine motor and visual perceptual difficulties.
