M. Marlene Seeger has been an occupational therapy specialist for more than thirty years, having graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York with a bachelor of science degree in occupational therapy. She also completed master degree courses in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Pittsburgh and is certified in Sensory Integration. She joined AOT in 1987 as a supervisor, and was promoted to manager of pediatric services in 1994. In May 2006, she was named Vice President. In addition to her executive duties, she directly manages 40 pediatric occupational and physical therapy service contracts in seven counties in Western Pennsylvania. She is currently a member of the Autism Help Network Think Tank

Ms. Seeger is the corporate expert in pediatric therapy methods and treatment methods. She provides consultation for direct intervention for clients whose deficits are of a complex sensory or neuromotor nature. She also provides training in feeding/oral motor treatment and is a frequent speaker for schools and support groups. Recognized as a leader in Pittsburgh’s occupational therapy community, Ms. Seeger has been asked to participate as an expert in several professional and academic endeavors.  Prior to joining AOT, Inc., Ms. Seeger served as director of occupational therapy at Dixmont State Hospital, Mayview State Hospital, and the Community Mental Health Center of Beaver County. She also was an occupational therapy training specialist at Mayview and an occupational therapy consultant at McGuire Memorial Home. She instructed a lab on psychiatric assessment in the department of occupational therapy at the University of Pittsburgh.
